TECHNICON presented TE1000GB12C5R7 - the most powerful IGBT module in A5 (ED3) case

TE1000GB12C5R7 is the most powerful IGBT module (1200V/1000A) in C5 (ED3) case optimized for use in general purpose drive and energy systems. The module implements new IGBT Gen.7 technology based on MPT (Micro-Pattern Trench FS) cell design optimized for electric drive applications. New IGBT technology combines high current density with short circuit ruggedness and increased blocking voltage for reliable inverter operation under harsh environmental conditions. New IGBT is optimized for applications with switching frequencies in the range of 10 kHz.

Technicon IGBT modules in ED3 case are classified in accordance with automotive reliability standards – much more tough that industrial standard.
